More than anything he was worried that Bendy was manipulating or using Cuphead and might’ve had a plan to take them back to the Devil or something along those lines. However, Mugman didn’t trust bendy for a long long LOOONG (exaggeration) time, because of their experiences with the Devil, so he was like “I know your kind, and I don’t trust you”. Cup instantly took a liking to bendy, and Bendy was fascinated by Cuphead the moment they met. Cuphead and Bendy r both pretty impulsive so they butted heads for a short amount time until they were like “aw yeah this guy is so cool”.
